I’ve taught A-Level English Literature for nine years, both in the classroom and through private tuition. Most of my students come to me needing help turning good ideas into focused essays, so we spend plenty of time on argument, close analysis and using critics properly. I particularly enjoy teaching Shakespeare and modern drama, and I’m quite particular about students answering the question that is actually on the paper.

Hi! I’m an A-Level English Literature tutor with five years of experience, and I’m probably happiest when a lesson turns into a proper discussion about a poem or novel. I work a lot with students who understand the text but struggle to get those thoughts onto the page. We usually read passages together, pick apart the language, then work out how that analysis can become a convincing essay rather than a collection of quotes.

I’m an English Literature graduate and qualified teacher with more than 8 years of experience at sixth-form level. I currently specialise in A-Level Literature tuition, particularly for students working towards A and A* grades. Much of my work involves refining existing skills rather than starting from scratch: developing more sophisticated interpretations, integrating context naturally and making comparative essays feel coherent. I have a particular interest in Romantic poetry.
